Three Day Military Diet Menu: Day 1

The whole point of the Military Diet is to lower your calorie intake, so your body burns excess fat. The diet is meant to only be followed for three days, no more. The three day military has worked for some people looking to lose weight in a short period of time. To make loss weight permanent eat a diet with lean protein and lots of fruits and vegetables. Take it easy on the carbohydrates and cut out processed foods.

On the first day, you will have grapefruit and a piece of toast for breakfast. You eat a 1/2 cup of tuna and one slice of toast, and drink one cup of caffeinated coffee or tea for lunch. Day one will have you consume two slices of meat with a cup of green beans. This will also include half a banana and one small apple. Total calorie of day 1 count of about 1,200 calories.
